
After enrolling at Geneva Superior Conservatory in the class of Margarita Karafilova, Vincent Soler studies with the professor and soloist Stéphane Tran Ngoc at Lawrence University, USA where he graduates with a Bachelor in Solo Performance with Honors before enrolling at McGill University, Canada for a Masters in Solo Performance degree obtained in Jonathan Crow's class, then concertmaster of Montreal Symphony Orchestra. During these years, Vincent Soler had the opportunity to learn and perform along with renowned artists and ensembles such as William Garcin, André Gorog, Patrice Fontanarosa, Jaap Schroeder, Giorgy Kurtag, Marc Minkowski, Denys Bouliane and to work with composer Jean Lesage at the creation of several contemporary compositions as solo violin of McGill Contemporary Music Ensemble of Montreal. Winner of the Lawrence Symphony Concerto Competition and laureate of the Neal Sylva WPR Competition, he was recipient of several scholarships including the loan of a 1685 Andrea Guarnerius violin. Vincent Soler also played during these last years in the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra and in the Lawrence Symphony as concertmaster for three seasons and gave several solo and chamber music recitals and symphony concerts in USA, Canada, France, Vietnam and China. Accepted to the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, conducted by Daniel Barenboim in 2003, he has been member of the Orchestra1813 of Milan, Italy, 2007-2008. Now Vincent shares his activities between the Camerata du Rhône, France and the Europa Philharmonie, Germany, and various freelance engagements with european orchestras.
